Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 has gathered a huge level of international support for this year’s exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City this October.

National Groups to this year’s exhibition, held from the 21-23 October at HIECC, include Austria, China, Germany, India, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

Rosaria Marinaccio of the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) reported that “the booming Vietnamese economy has accelerated the need for domestic companies to invest and establish production lines rapidly; propelling Vietnam as one of the fastest developing marketplaces for industrial machinery and equipment”. The ICE led Italian group at Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 includes 12 machinery companies.

Managing Director of Sales for Arburg GmbH, second time exhibitors of the event, explained that “the plastics industry in Vietnam is currently building up strongly which is noticeable at many instances. With our presentation at the show, we continuously improve our market presence”.

Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008, jointly organized by Bangkok Exhibition Services, Allworld Exhibition members, and Messe Düsseldorf, organisers of K, is the second edition have been held previously in 2007 attracting 5,785 trade buyers from 35 countries.
